All of our fountains, aerators, de-icers, muck-movers and sub-surface aerators are oil-free and require almost no maintenance.*
* While oil lubricated units require costly annual maintenance and upkeep, all of our fountains are water lubricated units which eliminates the need for annual maintenance. We recommend not removing the units from the water in the winter months. Simply, turn off the power supply to the unit before the pond freezes, and plug it turn it back on the following Spring.

DIFFUSER INFORMATION
Sub-surface aeration respects the pond owner wanting to reserve the natural appearance of their pond.
Sub-surface aeration provides a significant amount of oxygen while supporting the ecosystem and water quality.
Sub-surface aeration units consist of a compressor that sits on the shore of the body of water. Weighted air lines connect to the compressor and run to the diffusers placed on the pond floor. The compressor pumps air from the surface to the diffuser pads at the floor of the pond. From the diffuser pads, a significant amount of bubbles are produced and rise to the surface of the pond in turn, cooling the water and providing an ample amount of oxygen to your ecosystem.
We supply units consisting of 1, 2, 3, and 4 diffusers.
Our diffusers are great for de-icers and can be ran all year round!
